As soon as they walked in, one of the employees wheeled in several mail bags full of checks and dumped them on the table. His father’s jaw dropped. “Wow,” he said. “That’s a lot of money for one week.”

The lady who was dumping the bags replied, “Oh, no, Mr. Halbert. That’s just for today!”

Hands down…that’s my favorite marketing story.

Sure. And they’re changing every day. But some things stay the same, like the psychology that forms the basis of selling through words.
